Tomorrow

Daxton goes in for surgery tomorrow for his ear tubes and circumcision. We head up to the hospital at 6 am. I know that it is necessary but I hate to put him through all of this especially when he is so happy and content with life. I'm not complaining just sad that tomorrow he will not be a happy camper. Send some prayers our way and also to all the heart babies going in for heart surgery. We are thinking of you Mckay...Good luck buddy.

Hey! Just saw this post and wanted to comment. Maddox had those 2 procedures done about 2 weeks ago. Both went extremely well, but I was nervous about them putting him completely under. And of course I always worry about him coming off the vent. But he did great. The tubes really are no big deal. We had to put drops in a couple of times a day for 3 days. The circ went well too. I had to take the bandage off after 48 hours though and I was feeling pretty bad for my little guy. They told me to put him in the tub a couple of times a day to help with swelling, he loves the bath and it did help. After a couple of days he was totally back to normal. I think it was harder for me than him. Then I got to experience the joy of having a boy, he finally peed on me...so watch out for that. :) Good luck and I'll be thinking of you guys!

We will be praying for you guys! I know it's never easy to have these heart babies be put under. I hope you have a smooth ride tomorrow.

Just wanted you to know I had been thinking of you. I hope that surgery went well yesterday.
I know that when Cole had his tubes placed it was heaven! I hope that Daxton gets the same results. As far as the other issue, OUCH! I hope that he will not be to uncomfortable.
